# Quickstart for AI agents

Use this guide when you connect an LLM, MCP client, or coding agent to these docs.

## Start here

Read `index.mdx` first. It explains how AIOD discounts are configured and maps common merchant requests to the right template.

Then open the matching page in `templates/` for setting-level details.

## Recommended retrieval flow

1. Identify the merchant's promotion goal.
2. Match the goal to an AIOD template.
3. Read the template page before answering.
4. Use exact setting names from the docs.
5. Mention the tab or section where each setting appears.
6. State when settings are conditional, disabled, or only visible after another option is enabled.
